My first-time visiting LA was in 1982 and I was on a teen tour with about 50 kids from NY. I remember this girl telling me that she can't wait to get to LA and see here dad, who is Neil Diamond.. I said something like bullshit your from NJ, not realizing at 14 that he was from NJ and had 2 daughters. She got kinda pissed with me and said "I'll show you when we get to LA" and I was like sure. So that first morning waking up in LA, there is this knock at the hotel room door, I open it and there in Neil Diamond and his daughter Elyn. I was like holly shit, it's Neil Diamond; I can still re-member his gold 1982 Porsche 928s4 as I walked with them out past the lobby with Neil saying "Yes, this is my daughter"... I'd love to find Elyn and apologize, as I was A hole. 'Hint for an alternative listening experience, the streaming version (released in 2021), doesn't have the horns.
